Indoor plants brighten up your home and bring some added freshness, too. We already know that plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. But recent NASA studies show that indoor plants are useful in absorbing certain pollutants inside homes and buildings, therefore giving us cleaner air. On the top of that, greens add color and can even disguised embarrassing design flaws. Aren’t these reasons enough to bring the garden inside?

Pick your plant, when choosing indoor plants, landscape design consult a consultant. The number one factor in picking is the space available indoors. Make sure you know how much sunlight you planned area gets and that your space is enough that plants won’t be in the way when you move around. Keep it clean, dust and grease can make your plants look dull and dirty. Plus, clean leaves make for healthier plant growth. To clean, wipe leaves regularly with a damp, soft cloth.
