Get Organized

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Always tripping over the garden hose or missing that box of fertilizer? If so, it’s time to get your garden tools organized. Here’s how to do it: Group them all together, keep all your gardening stuff in one area. Leaving them lying around is an accident waiting to happen.

The best area to store your tools is the garage. If you don’t have a garage, a small area in your backyard or near your garden will do. Categorize it, group together small tools, long tools, watering equipment, seeds and fertilizers, garden tools and pots and planters. Use some jars, put fertilizers, seeds, and garden chemicals into sealed containers. Label containers, it would save you the hassle of looking into each jar whenever you need something. Label fertilizers and seed accordingly. Use your garage walls, hang racks with S-hooks on your garage walls for small tools such as trowels, grass clippers, and pruning shears.

The Joy of Unit Asking

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Yesterday, watching the news while using the elliptical machine at the gym, I tried to speed up my pace by turning up the volume on the TV. I do it all the time. When it comes too multitasking, I am more competent only by a hair, and sometimes not even that. More than once, I’ve found myself standing in my bedroom closet holding, say, a screwdriver and a cup of coffee, as clueless as a sleepwalker about what I’m doing there. And I cannot answer the phone while writing an e-mail without sending the message to the wrong person- or calling the person I’m mailing. Obviously, I am especially unsuited for multitasking; but I would argue that, while most of us are doing it, none of us are doing it well. If you are playing a family board game while making cookies, are you really playing with family or driving everyone crazy by jumping up to check the oven every five minutes?

Problem as a Part Time Student

Monday, January 4th, 2010

I am working as a part time student to support my study and drive my family good financial condition. However, when was the last time that my mother suddenly ill, it let me no choice but to bring her to the hospital, and the doctor said that she only needs  an enough rest. That is good news for me, because that is better than the other condition. However, the rest of my savings almost wiped out because of the hospital bill, and in that time I can’t afford the enrolling fee of the university that I use to come in for the next semester.

However, I know I can lend money from the payday loans online and pay it when my payday comes. I am usually used the payday loans because I don’t want to lend money from my friends or relatives because they already know that I am working part time as a student with fix income.
